Our story

1987

The beginnings

It all starts with Jean Genecand, a passionate chef who decides to create his catering business in Geneva. The philosophy: fresh produce, authentic recipes and impeccable service.

1995 - 2005

Expansion

Genecand Traiteur becomes known in Geneva's corporate world. The team grows and we develop our expertise in large events while maintaining our high quality standards.

2010

Innovation

Launch of the first complete event packages (venue + catering). Development of the partner-venue network to offer a turnkey experience.

TODAY

Ongoing commitment

Over 2,500 events delivered, a team of 25 permanent staff, a network of 50+ partner venues, and always the same passion for innovation while staying true to our values.
